Recipe Ingredients
- 1.00 c Evaporated milk
- 0.50 Stick butter
- 3.00 c Sugar
- 1.00 ts Vanilla
- 0.75 c Chopped nuts
Recipe Directions
- Mix milk, butter and 2 cups sugar in saucepan, heating to boiling point.
- Melt 1 cup sugar in saucepan stirring constantly.
- Cook to soft ball stage.
- Add vanilla and nuts; beat until very firm.
- Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
- Yield: 40 pieces.
