Chicken Normandy


When I served this Chicken Normandy recipe to my family last week, everyone loved it!
It's a fast and tasty Chicken Normandy recipe that I'm happy to share with others.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 0.75 ts Thyme leaves or 1/4 tsp.
  • -ground thyme
  • 0.75 ts Salt
  • 0.50 ts Onion powder
  • 0.25 ts Ground black pepper
  • 1.00 lb Thinly sliced boneless,
  • -skinless, chicken breast
  • -halves
  • 3.00 tb Butter
  • 1.00 Red or green apple, cored
  • -and sliced
  • 1.00 c Apple juice
  • 1.00 tb Cornstarch

Recipe Directions

  • Combine seasonings in small bowl.

  • Sprinkle evenly on both sides of chicken pieces.

  • melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Brown chicken on both sides, about 5 minutes.

  • Stir in apples.

  • Remove from heat.

  • Combine juice with cornstarch; pour over chicken mixture.

  • Bring to boiling; reduce heat to medium.

  • Simmer, uncovered, 3 minutes until sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally.

  • Total Time 20 minutes.
